Welcome to the Nutrition Consensus. Domain. It includes my Nutrition Investigator site, my Nutrition Consensus site, and my Education site. There is a specific disclaimer for the Nutrition Consensus site. For the other two sites, I am pleased to share with you what I have learned from the scientific literature, students, colleagues, and my research experience during my career. Please read the disclaimer below that explains laws that apply because I have a Ph.D. rather than an M.D. The best way to learn to use my nutrition investigator web site is through the page of indices https://nutritioninvestigator.org/nutrition/indices/isub. You can also see many useful previous newsletters about pregnancy and increasing your healthspan here: https://nutritioninvestigator.org/nutrition/alnindexlitnotes ……

You can search the entire site for any key words like weight loss by clicking on the yellow box at the upper left of every page. There is lots of research that shows just reading the nutrition investigator news summary emails whenever they are sent is beneficial to your health. Exercise, good nutrition, and relaxation will help us all enjoy life. The literature notes provided in emails and on-line by Nutrition Investigator at this site contain partial extracts of peer-reviewed articles, usually with links to online accessible abstracts. Readers are encouraged to subscribe to the complete journals. Links follow to my main sources, Science, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, and the Journal of Nutrition.

PERSONAL COMMENT: I am honored that so many people have asked to receive my summaries of the latest peer-reviewed nutrition research. My goal is to be an effective librarian, providing summaries and links to peer-reviewed research that I read as a major part of my role as a professor who teaches biochemistry and nutrition, and conducts research in nutrition. Having studied nutrition for many decades, I recognize that my summaries often reflect my scientific prejudices. Please read the brief article about the likely benefit of vitamin C and E supplements for telomere length and human health to see how heavily my beliefs may influence Nutrition Investigator notes. Going to professional meetings, I recognize my beliefs are debatable by others. You must read the articles at the links and discuss these comments with your health professional before acting on this information, as noted in the site disclaimer. And you are encouraged to ask questions, through the link at Site Author at the top of each page. One goal of these messages is to help you be conscious of what you put in your body. Thank you for the many kind responses and insightful questions I receive in return.
