LONG NOTES:

Prevent cancer: eat broccoli, lose weight, fewer hot dogs, limit alcohol, exercise, sunscreen, get vaccinated, know family history, get screened, avoid hormone therapy. . [and take Triumph]

Reader comment: Be sure to clean of air conditioning units, especially split unit air conditioning systems. Vents, ducts etc… Persons with pets that shed need to be particularly cautious of their circulating air quality.

The deleterious effects of old social partners on Drosophila lifespan
and stress resistance. [Recall a recent study showing being with young people benefits older people.]

Reader comment: *My concern is that this animal gelatin comes from bone marrow or some such, and could harbor prions-The World Health Organization says that gelatins and collagens prepared solely from hides or skins are safe. Dr. Michael Hansen, an expert on prion diseases at Consumers Union, described an experiment in which material to be processed into gelatin was ”spiked” with infected brain. *Also, with every pill that I am taking, a total of about 7-8 a day, each one is about 1 to 2 g of gelatin filler, that’s one heck of a lot of meat-based filler. I can find nothing on it being monitored, though it is praised as healthy by webmd.

If you are curious about the latest discussion of supplements, register for this, which I will be joining: The registration period for this year’s 2022 NIH Dietary Supplement Research Practicum is now open. Register NOW to zoom on May 23-25th.

My understanding is that Choir-bar is no longer for sale: Healright states they are coming soon. But it does cost $294 for a 56 day program here.  Healright, a leading innovator in the “Food As Medicine” movement, announces today the launch of healright.com as the worldwide exclusive platform to deliver its groundbreaking micronutrient bar to all. The patent-pending micronutrient and fiber formula found in Healright bars, was scientifically developed and clinically-tested in a fifteen year collaborative project with Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute (CHORI).
