From a GRG post: I am a chocoholic. I am glad to see large scale studies showing moderate health and life extension benefits. However, the heavy metal content has been a major concern. One person at LongeCity suggested that the heavy metals are tightly bound to the cocoa flavonoids/polyphenols and perhaps that somewhat prevents them (metals) from being absorbed into the body.
