LONG NOTES:

Dear Friends of me, Roc,

Please consider supporting my fundraiser by viewing the story here – http://spot.fund/19fgpbfce.  If my average friend gave $10, I would have enough.  For $100, you get the autographed book with my thanks.

I am trying to raise $8,000 to publish my book Not FDA Allowed.  I plan to refund all donations in about 5 months after the book is published and enough copies sell to pay for that $8,000 you helped contribute.  Thanks!

AARP: The #1 Exercise for cBelly Fat. Lie flat on your back with knees bent, lift your feet and knees to horizontal.

Fatty 15 claims to improve mitochondrial function 45%, inhibit 18+ proinflammatory cytokines.

An estimated 67,440 people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2025, according to the latest report from the American Cancer Society. Here are some common symptoms:

Abdominal discomfort in the mid- to- upper abdomen that often radiates to the back

New onset diabetes or worsening blood sugar levels, especially with weight loss

Darkening of urine and lightening of stool

Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes)

Itching

Nausea and vomiting

Fatigue

Loss of appetite and unintentional weight loss

Kidney grown in the lab. Scientists from Sheba Medical Center and Tel Aviv University have taken human kidney tissue stem cells and grown a 3D organ culture (organoids) to 34 weeks maturity – the longest-lasting and purest ever developed. It will advance research into kidney disease, regenerative medicine and transplants.

Resting-State fMRI Reveals the Neural Correlates of Acupuncture in the Treatment of Vascular Cognitive Impairment. This review not only summarizes the existing evidence on the efficacy of acupuncture in treating VCI, (Vascular Cognitive Impairment) but also synthesizes the current evidence from rs-fMRI studies to elucidate how acupuncture improves cognitive function in VCI patients through central mechanisms.

New Yorker Aug 11 pg 26… Live long and prosper: The seminal paper in Cell had 12 hallmarks of aging, including DNA instability, mitochondrial dysfunction, chronic inflammation, cellular senescence when burned-out cells start oozing toxic sludge, and stem cell exhaustion.  Caloric restriction can shrink muscle mass, lower your libido, and suppress neuronal function.Among the elderly, having difficulty bathing is as grimly determinative of mortality as having heart failure.  Only a quarter of the slowest walkers over 85 survived as long as the fastest walkers. Numerous papers have concluded that genes determine only 7 to 30% of longevity, while your behavior has a much larger vote.

Impact of diet and exercise on mitochondrial quality and mitophagy in Alzheimer’s disease.  a healthy diet and regular exercise play a crucial role in maintaining mitochondrial quality and mitochondrial function, in turn, enhancing mitophagy and synaptic activities that delay AD in the elderly populations.

The Potential of the Mediterranean Diet to Improve Mitochondrial Function in Experimental Models of Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome. The term “Mitochondria nutrients” has been adopted in recent years, and it depicts the adequate nutrients to keep proper mitochondrial function. Different experimental models show that components of the MD, including polyphenols, plant-derived compounds, and polyunsaturated fatty acids, can improve mitochondrial metabolism, biogenesis, and antioxidant capacity.

High-intensity Interval Training Improves  Mitochondrial Function and Suppresses Thrombin Generation in Platelets undergoing Hypoxic Stress.   We conclude that the high-intensity interval training simultaneously improves mitochondrial bioenergetics and suppresses dynamic mitochondrial functionality and thrombin generation  in platelets undergoing hypoxia.

Endurance exercise rescues progeroid aging and  induces systemic mitochondrial rejuvenation in  mtDNA mutator mice.  The systemic mitochondrial rejuvenation through endurance exercise promises to be an effective therapeutic approach to mitigating mitochondrial dysfunction in aging and related comorbidities.
