Thanks to my sponsors. After 2 months of my website having to be restored frequently, requiring weeks at a time where it was inaccessible, I finally found out that my website has been infected with malware.  It costs $359/yr for malware protection, and $47.88 for backup protection.  Thanks to donations, I can afford these services so links in my nutrition notes to my website will now work properly.

LONG NOTES:

Take 500mg vitamin C twice a day to reduce stroke damage.  I have reported this before, but it bears repeating. Serum Vitamin C Concentration Was Inversely Associated With Subsequent 20-Year Incidence of Stroke in a Japanese Rural Community.  The 500mg dosage produces the maximum level in your blood. That was my discovery in 1994.

Pandemic ended, mental health crisis did not!  20% of people claim depression or anxiety, 33% of those under 30. Zoloft prescriptions rose 17% in 2022 vs 2019.  But SAMe is much less expensive and much more likely to be effective in dealing with depression.

Scientists at Israel’s Weizmann Institute have identified two small molecules capable, in the laboratory, of penetrating the blood-brain barrier and reducing the levels of a defective protein that causes Huntington’s disease.

Women wishing to expand their family might consider making Aliyah. Researchers at Tel Aviv University have found for the first time that exposure to the sun in women aged 30-40 can increase fertility. Their ovaries secrete more Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) due to higher UV levels.

Migraine?  You’re covered. US non-profit health insurer Highmark has added, to the items covered by its insurance policies, the Nerivio Remote Electrical Neuromodulation (REN) migraine band, developed by Israel’s Theranica (see here previously). Highmark covers around 7 million people in the Pennsylvania area.

Observational Study to Evaluate Efficacy and Safety of Vidaslim®, a Medical Nutrition Therapy, for Weight Loss in Subjects with Obesity. The medical nutrition therapy, Vidaslim, was found to be an effective and safe meal (lunch or dinner)-replacement strategy and brought a significant reduction in weight, WC, and HC over 16 weeks in overweight and obese individuals.
