From Kevin F – More Data Supporting The Fruits-Vegetables-Nuts-Legumes Diet – In yet another study – this time from the European Heart Journal – researchers are reporting that a diet comprised of higher amounts of fruit, vegetables, nuts, legumes, fish, and whole-fat dairy supports a lower incidence of cardiovascular disease and mortality throughout the world, including lesser developed nations. A 6% lower incidence of major cardiovascular events and an 8% lower risk for mortality.
